Starlight Gatherings...the fabrics, the quilts...
Life on the Lake has many gifts, and the beauty of a star-filled night sky is one of them. Without the lights of town the stars are brighter, and I can see more of them. Since this collection was inspired by the stars, a sawtooth star print I call Starlight had to be included. Both the sky and this collection are colored in my favorite shades of blue-Indigo, Navy and Cadet. While the stars above might not be cream they still shine with the same contrast. This classic color combination and prints are available from Primitive Gatherings by Moda fabrics by the yard. There are three prints that come in 108" wide backing as well. These extra wides can be quilted as is, or made into quilted projects like, bags, totes, aprons and sewing notions. The possibilities are endless. My hope is that the quilts you make from this book or Starlight Gatherings fabrics will have a little more shine to them!

Blue and white is the most sought after color combo in collecting antique quilts.Most of the quilts in this book are re-creations or inspired by my antiques in my collection. I am truly honored to own these quilts swtitched with love by our for Mothers. It amazes me what they've accomplished with just needles, fabric and thread. Blue and White quilts seem to never go out of style, they are coveted in today's modern world as they were 150 years ago.
